In the future, political decisions must refrain from promoting purely financial gains and rather strengthen sustainable approaches from civil society and economic actors.
In 2019, we jointly adopted our Manifesto, which consists of two parts: our voluntary commitment to the sustainable orientation of our own companies, but also concrete demands on policymakers. The German Federal Constitutional Court sent a clear signal with its ruling in the climate lawsuit (May 2021), declaring parts of the previous climate laws unconstitutional.
