Christine Brandmeir grew up on a farm. Her involvement in the Catholic rural youth movement and for the ecological and social restructuring of agriculture took her to the international stage, where she represented the interests of rural youth organizations in the International Planning Committee within the framework of UNESCO, the FAO, the world food summits and the world social forums. She worked with rural youth organizations in South America, Africa and India and advocates food sovereignty. She is currently the President’s advisor at Bioland and is also responsible for the internal decision-making process of the Bioland Association. As a process facilitator and sociocracy expert, her teams, projects and companies are particularly close to their hearts, which constantly learn to increase their effectiveness and improve the quality of decision-making and value creation in companies.
